By Taryn YoungFox News 16The National Paintball League (PNL) has hired several staffers, including an editor and writer for its paintball magazine.
Paintball Magazine will be published by Paintball Co-op in late 2018, the league announced on Wednesday.
The magazine will focus on the art of paintball in the U.S. and will be based out of a new studio in Orlando, Fla., where the PNL will also debut.
The PNL has partnered with Ink and Paint Paint to launch the magazine.
The Paintball magazine will be a two-issue series that will feature coverage of various events in the game, including tournaments, championships, and more.
The first issue will be available on May 16, 2018, and will feature a three-part feature on the world of paintballs.
The team behind Paintball Magazine said it is looking for editors and reporters to help the magazine reach a wider audience and that the hiring of those with professional paintball experience will also help increase the visibility of the magazine in the industry.
“This is a new challenge for us, and we are looking for a writer to help us in creating this magazine that will be the premier destination for fans of the sport,” said David Zumbrun, President and Publisher of the PLL.
“The PLL is a top-notch team and we will work hard to bring readers a more comprehensive look at the sport of paintguns and the paintball industry in general.
We are excited to be partnering with Ink & Paint to bring this magazine to life.”
The PNL is an offshoot of the National Paintballs Association, which was created in 2014 to promote and develop the game.
The NPA also publishes the Paintball Pro Magazine.
