Paintball players are in a state of panic after the latest outbreak of the pandemic.
But they are not the only ones worried about the spread of the deadly airborne disease.
What can you do to protect yourself?
Paintball: What you need to know paintball players say they are now under pressure to keep their teams safe, and that their health has been compromised.
Paintball is an online, multi-player, arena sport where players can compete against each other or against the environment for their teams’ share of the prize pool.
It is a form of indoor shooting, but the ball has to be shot from the same position to be counted.
A player may shoot a ball in any direction, or aim it from a fixed position and aim at the same point.
The ball is shot as hard as it can be, but can also be broken up into smaller pieces.
The aim is to shoot down as many players as possible before the next round starts.
The virus can spread easily if it is not treated quickly.
“Paintball has been here for over 40 years and we have been doing it for almost 50 years,” says Paulo de Paz, a veteran of the game.
“It is the same with any sport.
We are still doing it.
It’s not as much as you would expect it to be.”
De Paz is the president of South Africa’s Paintball Association (SAPA).
The SAPA was set up in 2010 to help organise paintball tournaments in South African towns, and was later expanded to include the National Paintball Championships.
There are now over 800 events held each year in the SA, and many of these take place in the Cape Town area, which is home to some of the country’s most famous venues.
The South African government is also investing heavily in paintball to fight the pandemics.
There has been a significant increase in funding over the last few years, which has meant that South Africa now has the second largest paintball community in the world behind China.
The SA PA also has a national office in Johannesburg and an international branch in Beijing.
But some players feel they have been unfairly targeted by the government.
“I don’t know why the government is trying to take the initiative to take care of the players,” says de Pahaz.
“They should be helping the players and not being scared of them.”
