By now you’ve probably heard about the new film, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, and how the movie stars some of the coolest people ever to grace the silver screen.
You may have even spotted a few of the most iconic posters on the set of the movie, such as the “Kiss of Death” poster from The Goonies.
Now, we’re happy to report that Pee’s Big Birthday is also on the way to theaters and you can expect it to have a few new posters to share.
In honor of the occasion, IGN is giving you the first look at a bunch of these posters and other Pee toys we’ve already seen on the sets of the upcoming film.
The first poster is of an elderly man with his hands folded, as seen in the movie’s trailer.
It was designed by illustrator Alexey Popov, and he’s described his work as a “simple, abstract style of art.”
You can see more of Popov’s work in his portfolio on his DeviantArt page.
The poster also shows a “pig” with the caption “a man in a striped shirt.”
You might be familiar with Popov from his previous work on Disney’s Pocahontas movie, which featured a very similar design.
The poster above also features a “Pizza” who looks to be wearing a red “KISS” shirt, along with the message “Karma!” and “Till Death do Us Part.”
The next poster has a “Truck Stop” who is dressed as a red truck, with the text “Killa Truck Stop!” and a photo of a truck.
This is probably one of the posters you most likely remember from the film’s trailers.
Popov also designed a few more posters that feature trucks and trucks, including the “Rescue” poster and the “Hospital Truck” poster.
Finally, the poster below features a red and white truck.
Pee-woo’s Big Christmas poster comes out March 8th, and you’ll be able to pick up the film on VOD, iTunes, and Blu-ray.
The film is also getting a limited theatrical release on December 16th.
In case you missed it, Pecos and Dudes will release the film in theaters March 22nd.
