NXT Tag Titles: Matt & Dolph will battle on a tag team for the NXT Championship in a pay-per-view on Sunday, July 11, 2016, at 10 p.m.
The title match will be featured exclusively on WWE Network and WWE NXT.
The NXT Championship will be held on Sunday nights main card of WWE Network.
The winner will move on to the NXT Tag Tournament, where NXT Tag Champions Matt Sydale and Dolph “The Phenom” Ziggling will face off against NXT Tag Champion Dolph Del Rio & Cody Rhodes in a six-man tournament, with the winner advancing to the main event of WWE Raw, which will be broadcast live on pay-pro.
The NXT Championship also will be available on WWE’s website for the first time in nearly a year.
“Matt & Damply is the most exciting tag team in the company, and we’re looking forward to showcasing their talents to our loyal fans and viewers this Sunday,” said WWE Senior Vice President and General Manager of Programming, Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
“The two NXT Tag Teams are two of the best in the business and they’ll look to make a splash in the biggest pay-day event of the year.”
The NXT Tag Tourney, a four-week tournament featuring NXT Tag champions Matt Sydales & D-Lo Brown & NXT Tag Champs Dolph & Cody Rios, will air on WWE NXT on Sundays at 10 a.m., ET on WWE.com and WWE Network on Sunday.
NXT Tag Championships: Matt is known for his incredible wrestling ability, and his skill and athleticism make him the perfect matchmaker for this championship.
The talented duo will put on a great match and we look forward to seeing them take the NXT Title at WrestleMania 33.
“The two tag teams will also compete in the NXT Women’s Championship Tournament on Sunday at 9 p.d.
ET on Sunday Night Raw, on the WWE Network, and on WWE Digital, WWE Mobile, WWE App and WWE App.
The top two NXT tag teams in the world will advance to the Main Event of the WWE Raw on Monday Night Raw at 8 p.b.
ET, which takes place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
The event will be streamed live on WWE Mobile.
